Car
If you are driving in Assateague Island, start your journey by heading west on Assateague Island Access Road (MD-611) from the park area. Continue on MD-611 for about 7 miles until you reach US-50. Turn left onto US-50 and drive for approximately 14 miles. After that, take the exit for MD-528 towards Ocean City. Merge onto MD-528 and continue for about 3 miles. Finally, turn left onto S Boardwalk, where the Whale Sculpture is located at 400 S Boardwalk, Ocean City, MD 21842.
