Car
If you're driving, start on I-64 E towards Norfolk. Take exit 284B for I-264 E towards Virginia Beach. Continue on I-264 E for about 15 miles, following signs for Virginia Beach. Merge onto US-60 E (also known as Shore Drive) and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Cape Henry Road. Turn left onto Cape Henry Road and follow it for approximately 1 mile. The New Cape Henry Lighthouse will be on your right at 560 Cape Henry Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23459. Note: There may be a parking fee of around $5.00.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from the Virginia Beach Transit Center. Board the Route 20 bus towards the Oceanfront. Ride until you reach the stop at 19th St & Pacific Ave. From there, you will need to transfer to the seasonal Trolley service (Route 30) that goes towards Fort Story. The trolley operates every 30 minutes during the tourist season. Get off at the Cape Henry Lighthouse stop, which is a short walk to the lighthouse itself. Keep in mind that bus and trolley fares vary, with a typical ride costing around $2.00.
