    If you are starting from the Petersburg Visitor Center at 100 River Street, head west on River Street towards North Sycamore Street. Turn left onto North Sycamore Street and continue until you reach East Washington Street. Turn right onto East Washington Street and walk until you reach the intersection with South Crater Road. Turn left onto South Crater Road and walk until you reach the intersection with Upper Appomattox Street. Turn right onto Upper Appomattox Street, and you will find Battersea Foundation at 1289 Upper Appomattox St on your left.
