Bus
From the Williamsburg Visitor Center, walk to the nearest bus stop located at 101 Visitor Center Drive. Take the Williamsburg Area Transit Authority (WATA) bus number 1 towards Yorktown. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Yorktown stop. Once you get off the bus, walk towards Water Street. The American Revolution Museum is located at 200 Water St, just a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Williamsburg. Start from the Colonial Parkway Trail which connects Williamsburg to Yorktown. Follow the trail for approximately 15 miles. Upon reaching Yorktown, turn left on Water Street, and the American Revolution Museum will be on your right at 200 Water St. The ride will take about 1 hour depending on your pace.

If you are feeling adventurous and want to walk, start from the Colonial Williamsburg Historic Area. Head southwest towards Francis Street and turn left onto Richmond Road. Continue walking straight, and then turn right onto Route 60. Follow this road for about 5 miles until you reach Yorktown. Once you arrive in Yorktown, turn left on Water Street, and the American Revolution Museum will be on your right at 200 Water St. This walk will take around 2 hours.
