Walking
Start at the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center located at 101 Visitor Center Drive. Exit the Visitor Center and head south on Visitor Center Drive. At the first intersection, turn left onto Route 132 S. Follow this road for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with John Tyler Highway (Route 5). Turn right onto John Tyler Highway and continue for about 1.5 miles. Greensprings Interpretive Trail will be on your left at 3751 John Tyler Hwy. Look for the trail entrance and enjoy your visit!
Public Transport
From the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center, head to the nearest bus stop for the Williamsburg Area Transport (WAT) system. Take the Route 1 bus towards the High Street area. Get off at the stop at the intersection of John Tyler Highway and Route 132. From there, walk north along John Tyler Highway for about 0.3 miles. Greensprings Interpretive Trail will be on your right at 3751 John Tyler Hwy. Follow the signs to the trail entrance.
Biking
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center and head south on Visitor Center Drive. Turn left onto Route 132 S and continue for about 0.5 miles. When you reach the intersection with John Tyler Highway (Route 5), turn right. Continue biking along John Tyler Highway for approximately 1.5 miles. Greensprings Interpretive Trail will be on your left at 3751 John Tyler Hwy. Use caution when crossing traffic and enjoy the scenic ride!
