If you are driving, begin your journey on I-84 East. Take exit 44 for Cascade Locks. After exiting, turn left onto Cascade Locks Highway and continue straight. Follow the road as it curves until you reach SW Portage Rd. Turn left onto SW Portage Rd. The Columbia Gorge Sternwheeler will be on your left at 299 SW Portage Rd, Cascade Locks, OR 97014. There is parking available, but be prepared for a possible parking fee during peak tourist seasons.

Public Transportation
To reach the Columbia Gorge Sternwheeler using public transportation, you can take the Columbia Gorge Express bus, which operates from Portland. Board the bus at the Portland Gateway Transit Center. The fare is approximately $5 each way. Get off at the Cascade Locks stop. From there, it's a short walk to the sternwheeler. Head southwest on E. Cascade Ave toward SW Portage Rd, then turn right onto SW Portage Rd. The sternwheeler is located at 299 SW Portage Rd. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time for return trips.
