From Snoqualmie Pass, head east on I-90. Merge onto US-202 N via Exit 34 toward North Bend. Continue on US-202 N for about 5 miles. Turn left onto SE 140th St, then immediately turn right onto 468th Ave SE. Continue onto FS 5830. Follow FS 5830 for approximately 4 miles until you reach the Melakwa Lake Trailhead parking area. Note that there is no fee for parking.
