From Bluefield, take the local public bus (if available) towards Tazewell. Make sure to check the schedule and the exact route, as services may vary. Once you arrive in Tazewell, you will need to walk about 2 miles to reach the Historic Crab Orchard Museum. Head northwest on Main Street until you reach Crab Orchard Road. Turn left onto Crab Orchard Road, and continue straight for about 1.5 miles until you see the museum on your right.

Rent a bicycle in Bluefield and head out towards Tazewell. Start on Main Street and follow it out of town. As you exit Bluefield, you will follow Route 460 West. After about 10 miles, you will reach the intersection with Route 61. Continue straight onto Crab Orchard Road. The museum is approximately 1 mile down the road on your left. Please be cautious of traffic and wear a helmet.
