Start at the Bluefield Bus Station located at 2000 Bland Street. Take the Greyhound bus towards Charleston, WV. After approximately 1 hour, get off at the nearest stop to French Creek, which is the closest bus stop to the West Virginia State Wildlife Center. From there, you can hire a local taxi or rideshare service to reach the Wildlife Center directly.

If you enjoy cycling, start in central Bluefield and head north on US-52. Follow US-52 for about 17 miles towards French Creek. The road may be busy, so ensure to wear a helmet and stay safe. Once you reach French Creek, look for signs directing you to Wildlife Road. The Wildlife Center is located at 163 Wildlife Road, approximately 1 mile from the main road.

Walking directly to the West Virginia State Wildlife Center from Bluefield is quite a distance, approximately 17 miles. However, you can take a bus to a closer location and then walk from there.
