Start at the Clarksburg City Park located at 2nd Street and Virginia Avenue. Head south on Virginia Avenue until you reach the intersection with 3rd Street. Turn right onto 3rd Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Main Street (US Route 50). Turn left onto Main Street and walk approximately 0.6 miles. You will pass several local shops and restaurants along the way. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing towards Bridgeport. After about 0.6 miles, turn right onto Bridgeport Hill Road (CR 50/63) and follow this road for about 2.5 miles until you reach the intersection with I-79. At this point, you will need to continue straight for another 0.5 miles until you see the entrance to Carr's Tunnel on your left.

If you're cycling, start at the Clarksburg City Park. Take Virginia Avenue south to 3rd Street and turn right. Continue on 3rd Street until you reach Main Street (US Route 50). Turn left and cycle along Main Street for about 0.6 miles. When you reach Bridgeport Hill Road (CR 50/63), turn right and bike for about 2.5 miles, enjoying the scenic views. After reaching I-79, keep going straight for approximately 0.5 miles where you'll find Carr's Tunnel on your left side.
