Car
To reach Ableman's Gorge State Natural Area by car, start from Baraboo, Wisconsin. Head east on US-12. After about 7 miles, take the exit for WI-136. Turn right onto WI-136 and continue for approximately 2 miles. The entrance to Ableman's Gorge State Natural Area will be on your left. There is ample parking available.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Baraboo to Rock Springs. Check the local transit schedules for bus times. Once you arrive in Rock Springs, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles along WI-136 to reach Ableman's Gorge State Natural Area. Be prepared for some walking, as there may not be direct public transport to the park.
