Walking
From Capitol Square, head south on State Street. The Downtown Madison Visitor Center is located at 452 State St. It's a short walk, approximately 5 minutes. You will see the visitor center on your left just before you reach the intersection with W Mifflin St. The entrance is clearly marked.

Public Transportation (Bus)
If you're further away in Capitol Square, you can catch a bus at one of the nearby stops. Look for the Metro Transit bus stops along State Street. Route 2 or Route 12 both stop at the State & Mifflin stop, which is just a few steps away from the visitor center. Buses run frequently, but check the Metro Transit website or app for the latest schedule. A single ride fare is $2.00.
