From any location in Northwoods, head towards Eagle River, WI. If you're starting from a major city like Minocqua, take US-51 N for approximately 15 miles until you reach the junction with WI-70 E. Turn onto WI-70 E and follow it for about 18 miles. Continue straight to stay on WI-70 E as it merges with US-45 N for a brief stretch. Once in Eagle River, follow the signs to Forest Rd 2178. Turn onto Forest Rd 2178 and drive for about 5 miles until you reach the Blackjack Springs Wilderness site. Parking is available at the trailhead.
