To reach Wehr Nature Center by car from any location in Northwoods, Wisconsin, you will need to head towards Franklin, WI. Enter '9701 W College Ave, Franklin, WI 53132' into your GPS for the most accurate directions. Depending on your starting point, you may take US-51 S or WI-47 S to connect to I-39 S. Follow I-39 S to exit 38A for I-94 E toward Milwaukee. Continue on I-94 E for approximately 30 miles. Take exit 305 for College Ave. Turn left onto W College Ave and continue for about 2 miles. The nature center will be on your right. There is a parking fee of $5 per vehicle, so be prepared for this additional cost.

If you are using public transportation, you can take a bus from your location to Milwaukee. Use the Milwaukee County Transit System to reach the closest stop to Wehr Nature Center. Once you arrive in Milwaukee, you will need to transfer to a local bus that heads west on College Ave. Check the schedules ahead of time, as they vary by day. The last leg of your journey will require a walk of approximately 1.5 miles from the bus stop to the nature center.
