Public Transit
From Racine, head to the nearest bus stop and take the Wisconsin Coach Lines bus heading towards Milwaukee. You will likely have to transfer at the Milwaukee Intermodal Station. Once at the station, find the Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) bus routes. Take the MCTS Route 15 (North Avenue) towards the Lower East Side. Get off at the stop at East North Avenue and North Prospect Avenue. From there, walk south on North Prospect Avenue until you reach East Ivanhoe Place. Black Cat Alley will be on your left.

Bicycle
If you prefer to bike, start at the Racine Harbor and take the Root River Pathway heading north. Follow the path until you reach the Milwaukee County line. Continue along the path which will eventually connect you to the Oak Leaf Trail. Follow the Oak Leaf Trail towards Milwaukee. When you reach the city, bike towards East North Avenue and turn left (west) until you reach North Prospect Avenue. Turn right (north) and then take a left onto East Ivanhoe Place to find Black Cat Alley.
