Start your journey at the Wausau Transit Center located in downtown Wausau. Board the Metro Ride Bus #5 towards 'West Wausau'. Stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Granite Peak Ski Area' bus stop. The ski resort is just a short walk from the bus stop, following the signs pointing to the resort entrance.

If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Wausau. Begin your ride on Jefferson Street heading west. Continue straight onto US-51 N for about 5 miles. Then, take a left onto Snowbird Avenue. Follow Snowbird Avenue directly to the Granite Peak Ski Area entrance. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local biking laws.

If you are close to downtown Wausau, you can walk to Granite Peak Ski Area. Start at the Wausau Center Mall and head west on 3rd Street. Continue on 3rd Street until you reach US-51 N.
