Getting There

  • Walking

    Start from the Wisconsin Dells Visitor Center located at 701 Superior St, Wisconsin Dells, WI 53965. Exit the Visitor Center and head east on Superior St until you reach Broadway Ave. Turn left onto Broadway Ave and continue walking north. After about 0.5 miles, turn right onto River Rd. Follow River Rd for approximately 1.5 miles. You'll see signs for Dells of the Wisconsin River State Natural Area on your left. The entrance to the natural area is just off River Rd.

  • Biking

    If you have a bike, start from the Wisconsin Dells Visitor Center at 701 Superior St. Head east on Superior St, then turn left onto Broadway Ave heading north. Bike along Broadway Ave until you reach River Rd. Turn right onto River Rd and continue for about 1.5 miles. Look for the signs for Dells of the Wisconsin River State Natural Area on your left. The entrance is just off River Rd.

    From the Wisconsin Dells Visitor Center, walk to the nearest bus stop at Broadway Ave and 4th St. Take the local bus that heads towards the Dells area. Request a stop at the closest point to River Rd. Once you get off the bus, walk towards River Rd, and follow the road north for about 0.5 miles. The entrance to Dells of the Wisconsin River State Natural Area will be on your left.
