If you are traveling by car within Sublette County, you can reach Fremont Lake from Pinedale, which is the nearest major town. Start by heading south on US-191 S for approximately 11 miles. After about 11 miles, turn right onto Fremont Lake Road (also known as County Road 23-115) and follow the road for about 5 miles. The road will take you directly to the lake area.
