Getting There

  • Private Car

    If you are traveling by private car, start from the main entrance of Kasanka National Park. Drive towards the main park roads, following the signs that indicate the route to Mweshi Falls. Continue driving for approximately 10 kilometers on the park roads. You will pass through beautiful landscapes and might spot wildlife along the way. Once you reach the fork in the road, take the left turn towards Mweshi Falls. Follow this road for about 5 kilometers until you see the signpost for Mweshi Falls. The falls will be on your right, and there is a small parking area available nearby.

  • Public Transportation

    If you are using public transportation, first make your way to the nearest town, which is Chipembi, where you can find local minibuses that go to Kasanka National Park. From Chipembi, take a minibus that heads towards Kasanka National Park. Inform the driver that you wish to go to Mweshi Falls. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you will need to hire a local guide or arrange for a taxi to take you to the falls, as public transport does not go directly there. The cost for the minibus to Kasanka is approximately ZMW 50, and hiring a local guide for the trip to the falls may cost around ZMW 100.
