Getting There

    From the central area of Lusaka, start at the Lusaka City Market. Exit the market and head south on Lumumba Road. Continue walking for about 20 minutes until you reach the intersection with Independence Avenue. Cross the road and continue straight onto Independence Avenue for another 15 minutes. You will pass the main post office on your left. After passing the post office, look for the signs for the National Heroes Memorial and turn right onto J7J9. The memorial is located a short distance down this road on your left.

    From the central bus station in Lusaka, take a minibus heading towards Matero. You can find the minibuses on the northern side of the station. Ensure to confirm with the driver that they are heading towards Matero. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to the National Heroes Memorial. Once you get off, follow the signs towards J7J9+8GG, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
