Walking
If you are starting from Harare city center, head east towards Samora Machel Avenue. Walk along Samora Machel Avenue until you reach the intersection with 2nd Street. Turn left onto 2nd Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Julius Nyerere Way. Here, you have two options: you can take a public bus or continue walking. To take the bus, catch one heading towards Mbare and ask the conductor to drop you off at the nearest stop for Cleveland Dam area.
Public Transport (Minibus)
From Harare city center, board a minibus (commonly known as 'kombis') heading towards Mbare. Inform the driver or conductor that you want to go to Cleveland Dam. They will drop you off at the closest stop. Once you alight, walk towards the Cleveland Dam Wall which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the main road signs that indicate directions to Cleveland Dam.

If you are near the Harare Botanical Gardens, exit towards the main road and head east. Follow the road until you reach the intersection with Cleveland Road. Turn left onto Cleveland Road and continue straight until you see signs for Cleveland Dam Wall. The dam is located a short walk from this point.
