From the Hwange Main Camp area, head southeast towards the gate exit. Follow the main road (A8) for approximately 9 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Detema Dam. Continue along this path, which may require some walking on unpaved roads, until you reach Deteema Dam, which is approximately 3 kilometers down this road.
