    We had a very enjoyable and informative ride with Southurn Rose! Lots of fun stories and historical facts. Kids loved the headsets and being able to pet the horse afterwards!

    Tyler was our guide and she made the whole experience wonderful. A pleasure to be part of her group. She was articulate, full of the important facts and funny. So glad we happened to get her. And the area we toured was beautiful. I highly recommend this tour.

    This tour was incredible! The buggy ride is great, beautiful horse but the real star was our delightful guide. She was a very passionate young lady, 4th generation from Beaufort, who knows her history and loves her horse! She gave us the most amazing tour chatting about times past and present in her hometown in addition to the history of the buggy company and the care of the horses. Her compassion for both was quite genuine and we thoroughly enjoyed our time spent with her as we learned so much about Beaufort’s role through history. We would definitely take this buggy ride again next time in town!

    Had a wonderful morning with Tyler and Link touring the streets of Beaufort yesterday! We're always a little wary of these things but it was great to see and hear just how well looked after the horses all are - something which is abundantly evident when you see what great condition they're in. Everyone was super friendly and Tyler is easily one of the best guides we've had anywhere in the world. Great Guide, Beautiful Horse - Loved it!

    It was a wonderful experience on this tour. The horses are treated very well, which was important to me. The information about the historic area was delivered wit humoe and respect. Tyler and her horse Links were especially a joy to meet.

    St. Helena's Anglican Church

    Our guest will here the role the church played in Beaufort's History from its founding in 1712, they will see the grave yard from the carriage and hear about some of Beaufort's founding fathers, & soldiers who gave there all who are buried there.

    Our tour will meander on the backstreets of Old Beaufort's Historic District and pass by century old live oak trees draped in spanish moss, Antebellum & Victorian Houses and Churches, Beautiful Gardens all from the comfort of our beautiful Blue Carriages pulled by our Gentle Giants. Relax and enjoy the clippity clop of the horses feet while your guide shares Beaufort's 300+ years of history, folklore, legends & Hollywood movie tales. From the early Colonial settlements, American Revolution, Plantation life of the Antebellum South, Civil War, Reconstruction Period, the 20th century through today Beaufortonians have always been involved in every major period of American History.

    The Point

    The tour meanders slowly through this neighborhood under the branches of the beautiful old live oak trees draped in Spanish Moss. Most of the Antebellum & Victorian Houses & lovely little cottages are located in the Old Point Neighborhood of Beaufort.
