    I had heard many good things about this 2-hour guided bus tour and on 8/24/24 it lived up to all my expectations. Our bus driver and tour guide were both very professional and get A+ for their attributed roles on our tour. Our licensed battlefield tour guide was an expert and had a solid answer for every question. Best of all, his delivery of the 3-day Gettysburg Battles painted visions that provided a better understanding of the events held at the locations visited. Throughout the tour our guide shared little meaningful facts that we didn't consider but were helpful, such as, it got dark at 7:30 p.m. because there was no daylight savings time in 1863. I loved the tour, the information, and their preservation of the battlefields and plan to take the tour again. A huge thank you goes out to the Gettysburg Foundation who raises funds to support the ongoing upkeep of the battlefields, cemetery, and monuments.

    The bus pick-up is located right by Cemetery ridge on the edge of town. It has a nice center and sells several other types of tours at that location too. Located by Jenny Wade House and Orphanage. We departed on time. Bus was comfortable, had driver and tour guide. The tour guide let us out of the bus on a couple of occasions. Our guide, Paul, was excellent. the tour lasts for 2 hours and we did have 1 "pit stop" along the route. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to get a good overview of the battle and then start the rest of your more specific tours after that.
