    The whales were amazing, as were the porpoises, dolphins, and sea lions! We took many photos. Key to our experience were Captain Rod getting us there, Jesse attending to our every need, and Isaiah (Zay) explaining everything in a down-to-earth and fun way. We even saw Casper the albino dolphin! Well worth the admission price!

    Absolutely a great experience!! Saw many humpback whales. Isaiah was very informative and helpful. He showed where to look for whales. I totally recommend everyone to take this trip!!

    What a great morning spent watching whales! The crew were great, very knowledgeable and clearly care a lot about the whales and their welfare. Also saw some dolphins too, and sea otters. They claim to have a 99% success rate at seeing whales and now I can understand why - we saw loads! The ride can be a bit choppy. They offer free hot drinks too both in the reception and on the boat.

    Great time! Saw about 10 whales and many dolphins. JJ the captain did a great job getting us to them. Kaylie and Ms. Darling could not have been any better....so helpful and such great information. I would definitely recommend this company!

    A lovely trip made all the more enjoyable by the friendly and highly knowledgeable staff on board. We saw humpback whales and dolphins. The staff were passionate and enthusiastic to share their knowledge and they created a lovely atmosphere on board the boat.

    What to expect

    Meet at Fisherman's Wharf in Monterey to begin your whale watching experience at 10am. Monterey Bay is considered to be a premier destination for whale watching year round as these animals are often spotted there. Your whale watching trip will be narrated by a marine biologist or naturalist, who will provide you educational and interesting information about marine wildlife. In addition to teaching you about the wildlife, your marine biologists and naturalists will provide information about the natural history of the local area and talk about conservation. While out on the ocean, your marine biologists and naturalists will also be collecting sighting data for scientific research. During your trip, the crew will show you how to spot whales and dolphins as well as give you advice on how to best capture photos and videos of the wildlife. You will return back to the original departure point between 12:30pm and 1pm.
