An amazing tour from Neil, who guided us around the gardens and memorial, giving us a great insight into life in bomber command. His knowledge and stories really enhanced the visit and it was included in the £3 parking charge! The views are awesome across Lincoln and it’s less then a 10min drive out from the town centre. Would definitely recommend!!

Very interesting, great display, highly recommended, particularly the memorial tour. Not just for history aficionados, everyone should learn about the horrors of war.

The theme of the centre is around remembrance, recognition (including victims of the raids) and reconciliation. We thought the centre hit this spot perfectly. We were lucky enough to be given a tour of the site by Phil Davies. A lovely bloke who is ex RAF and had some wonderful and moving stories to tell. I won’t spoil any stories here, but our visit was made better by our tour and Mr Davies was a wonderful guide. The tour was around 45 mins, the exhibition around an hour. Add 30 or so mins in the great cafe and the whole visit would be around 3 hours.

Well set up and very good for families, although several headsets were not working, which was a shame. We felt that it would be even more authentic to have a mock up of a bomber interior, so that the visitors can see just how cramped it was working in this space. We recently visited the Midland Air Museum by Coventry airport and this was the thing that made the greatest impression for us.

I have been to IBCC a number of times and always come away both humbled and impressed. On a practical level easy to find, plenty of parking, helpful friendly staff and a first rate cafe. The memorial, exhibits and information really brings home the sacrifices this generation made….thank you.

An excellent insight into the often overlooked efforts of the bomber command. Poinient, informative and also just a lovely place to visit and enjoy the peace. The walls of names is truly moving, and understanding the importance of what our brave airmen went through shouldn't be underestimated

Fantastic memorial to the WW2 Bomber Command crews, as well as the ground crews, support staff and civilians affected by the war. Well presented memorial and exhibition, guided tours are excellent and, as I was the only one there, it was almost a private talk. The memorial and garden is free to enter, only the exhibition and parking is charged. I walked the 30 mins to the memorial from Lincoln centre so easily accessible.

When we got there there was a tour on so we joined and found that was very informative and we both got a bigger insight into what happened at that time in ww2 it was very thought provoking and we enjoyed the experience.

We thought we knew a lot about Bomber command, but the experience here was hugely educational, emotive and inspiring. We came together as a family on a Sunday, and went on a tour with Andrew R. His knowledge and passion for both the air craft and the experiences of the 57,861 really captivated us. It allowed us to remember one of our own and feel connected on a newer level. It may be a small, new site, but the people that have put so much time and effort into the heart of it far outweighs anything. So worth a visit. So worth a pause to remember.
