    Unique experience on a traditional schooner. Great crew and views in the harbor! if you're lucky you may see some dolphins! There are drinks available once under way. Be sure to locate the correct dock to board, which is to the left of the marina address. Recommended, it was a lot of fun.

    It was a great day for sailing. The schooner dolphin cruise was a wonderful birthday experience. The dolphins arrived right away for viewing and the crew was great.

    My friend and I always do something special for our birthdays, which are the 16th and 18th of Aug. On my bucket list was to go sailing and this offer came up during a search, so I booked it. It was the best of excursions that day. The Captain and crew were amazingly helpful. The music they played was awesome, too. The only thing that was not to my liking is they won't allow you to bring anything to drink aboard, they sell water, sodas, and alcoholic drinks. A bottle of water is 4.00. A generic bottle of water, nothing exotic, just plain water. 4.00 for a 16.9 oz of water. We did see a few dolphins, too. I will book this again, but I will not be drinking on board. They ask for tips at the end, which is fine, I didn't mind that at all, but the water price was ridiculous!

    Great crew, a lot of good information. Unfortunately we did not have too much wind so they had to use engines a few times. Fun experience!

    We loved seeing the harbor! This cruise is a great way to see Charleston. Friendly staff and nice boat. Had a great time!

    The Schooner Pride

    Your cruise starts at Aquarium Wharf, where you'll board your genuine tall ship, powered only by Mother Nature and her incredible wind power. Once on board, watch the crew hoist the sails. Travel through waters that Blackbeard once anchored in, relax on deck, and imagine a time when the harbor was filled with these magnificent ships. You may bring your own food on board, if you wish, but not drinks; beer, wine, and soft drinks are available for purchase on board at your own expense.

    Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum

    While this is not a narrated cruise, the incredible crew is happy to answer questions about some of Charleston's most historic landmarks that you will see, such as Patriots Point and the USS Yorktown, an Essex-class aircraft carrier that played an important role during World War II.

    Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge

    Don't forget about Charleston's own modern marvel with an up-close look at the impressive Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, one of the longest cable-stayed bridges in the western hemisphere. You're welcome to help raise and trim the sails, or you may sit back and enjoy the ride.

    Fort Sumter National Monument

    See beautiful homes that line the Battery and famous Fort Sumter, where the first shots of the Civil War were fired, and watch for pelicans performing diving acts.

      The Schooner Pride is not wheelchair accessible. We will do our best to accommodate disabled persons, but there are 5 stairs then a gangplank to cross to board. The "head" is also below deck and you will need to negotiate stairs to use it.
