We enjoyed both Alcatraz and Bay City Electric Bikes. We traveled with a 10 and 13 year old and did the city tour. Steve customized our tour to accommodate the kids ages and abilities. Definitely recommend!

Recently did an Alcatraz & Streets of San Francisco tour package. The first day I visited the wonderful folks at the Taylor Street tour center. The manager and entire team made my experience so special. The staff is super knowledgeable. We departed for this tour on brand new Beyond electric bicycles for a tour that showed us all of the highlights of the city. We never got tired because the electric bikes had multiple settings! Highlight of this tour was seeing the views of the city of San Francisco from Dolores park! Next day we headed to Alcatraz Island and had a really fun time learning about the history of the island. This 2 1/2 our audio guided tour made our experience to this historic landmark very memorable. Cannot wait to come back again!

Made my reservation for this tour since it was the only way to get Alcatraz tix on short notice. Glad I did. The e-bike tour with Steve was more than I expected. The ride was easy with the electric bike and saw many parts of the city with a history lesson. Never would of seen this much on my own. Was definitely an afternoon well spent. The ticket information for Alcatraz was seamless too. Do recommend this tour and company.

One and this is VERY IMPORTANT, if you plan on visiting Alcatraz I strongly suggest that you order tickets online at least 2 months, YES 2 MONTHS before your trip. I waited about 5 weeks before this trip and could not get tickets, I tried all the different tours they had to offer, but no tickets were available when I was going to be there. My daughter had found out that if you were to go very early the day you want to visit Alcatraz ( she got there at 4 am ) and got in line. By doing this you may, not guaranteed, may be able to purchase tickets for that day. While in line she found out that there were some folks that had got in line at 2 am. One other thing before they will allow you in line your entire party has to be there. so one person can't get all the tickets. The trip is worth the trouble to get tickets. You may stay on the Island till the last boat leaves. They have audio head sets that you wear and it explains the history and famous prisoners that have stayed here. They also go into the history of the Island, one it was an Military installation when it was first established

Alcatraz was amazing and a must see while in SF. Purchasing the tickets through Viator was easy breezy. Note that the location of the departure is Pier 33 and not Fisherman's Wharf. We weren't sure of the departure location so I had to make a couple of calls to verify the name of the actual tour company and where their boats departed. The bike tour of SF wasn't exactly what we hoped for, though. Bay City Tour Co. was extremely friendly and accommodating but their bikes may need a little extra loving care. They squeaked severely when we had to brake and the chains came off on two of our four bikes. Not sure if that is an electric bike thing. The tour guide easily repaired them on the fly, though. I am not so sure it is super safe to take some of the roads we took in heavy traffic. Our guide sorta flew through some intersections and being one of the last in a line, it got hairy a couple of times. The locations they took us to were very comprehensive of the city. It was a bit too long for our group of four with two teenagers.
