It was nice but the English information usually came after we had already passed the point of interest. Also, not really sure what the added value of the water portion was.

Viewing the beautiful sites of Salzburg was enjoyable and informative. Great captain and guide with a good sense of humor. Transferring from the river to the streets was great fun. However, the information could have been given in a more organised and effective way. All in all, it was awesome. Many thanks

Good tour. They spoke good English and visito all main sites. BE AWARE of the meeting point location as directions do NOT specify that you must go down to the RIVER NOT the street. We alarmist missed the tour.

Amazing and fun way to experience Salzburg and all the sights. The vehicle itself is very distinct and everywhere you go, people wave and smile. The staff are very friendly, helpful and fun and they make sure everyone on board has a great time, regardless of nationality/language. Would highly recommend for all ages ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sound of Music area was beautiful also the very from the boat of the churches and castle was nice. We thought narration was a little boring compared to this same type of trip in the US. More like listening to a robot with no personality.

Nice tour. Not too long and saw some of the important sites. Good to have a bit in the river and some on land

And now for something completely different… Nice for families with children age before they find everything boring :)

The tour was mostly driving through the streets. Some was informative. They dont mention that part of the tour is a walking tour to see a palace across a lake. Also that apprx 25% of the tour is waiting on the staff to put on/remove flotation devices etc. not much time spent on the water, again, more time driving thru the city streets. All in all, the staff was excellent and friendly. Just not much to the actual tour itself. One time is enough.

I really don't relish leaving less than a 4-5 star review. But this was a little bit of a disappointment for my husband and myself. I booked our tour directly from the company website MONTHS in advance. When we arrived we discovered that the time had been moved up 15 minutes (thankfully we arrived early). We got on the boat last, because we were "late". Turns out they had overbooked and my husband had to sit in a chair in the middle of the aisle. Our group was made up of a majority of German speakers and so both languages were spoken. Which, I would normally be ok with, but it felt like a LOT of time was spent on German and not nearly as much in English. One reason why this gets 3 stars instead of less, is that the guides were willing to allow us to change our dinner/Mozart concert to the following night at our request, because we weren't feeling well. However, they forgot to take down our seat numbers. When we showed up the next night and took our seats (that they escorted us to), they came back and asked us to move when a different group of people showed up with the same seat numbers. This was even after we reminded them upon arrival that we were the couple who re-booked the dinner/show. Another part of this experience was the dinner. This was also a MAJOR mixed review for us. On one hand... we would have put up with a LOT just to have dinner with the absolutely killer view from the restaurant. However, the staff was INCREDIBLY unfriendly (though, this isn't the fault of the booking company, but it should be noted). At one point we witnessed a verbal altercation between one of the guests and a waiter. The dinner was pretty good. We only got water though, which they automatically bring out in bottles. The dinner is supposed to be included with the price, but even if you only get water to drink you have to pay extra (6 Euros per bottle of water!!). The concert itself was great, musically. You are also in an old room in the fortress that has more stunning views of the city and surrounding areas. The down side of this, is that we visited in July, we were in one of the top rooms in the fortress, the humidity was darn near 100% and it was HOT in that room. My final verdict is that I would probably do this tour again, but this is how I would do it. I would book through the company again. Show up 45 minutes early to ensure I get an actual seat on the boat. I wouldn't book this tour hours after our plane lands in Europe on our first night. I would bring a fan, and nicer clothes for my husband that are cool (not a sweater, especially in July... I was under the impression it would be raining the whole time and it didn't rain once). I would just recommend to people that they will have to sit through a lot of German, to expect to pay for their drinks, even just water, and to not expect overly friendly staff at dinner.
