We enjoyed watching the glass blowing demonstration in Murano, beautiful coloured houses in Burano, little bit quieter and less things to see and do in Torcello but a good amount of time spent on each island and very friendly people wherever we went. The information says 4 people but it was a boat of more than 50 but that wasn't a problem. About 5 different languages we're spoken by the tour guides and a nice amount of information about the areas was given. Overall, we were glad we went and it was a lovely day out.

we booked the 3 island trip but I would recommend only doing the 2 island trip as I felt torcello was not as an interesting island. the other 2 island are well worth a visit

for the price that we paid it was a great value. It’s a huge group but all info is given while you are on the boat and then you have free time to walk the islands. Murano and Burano were fun . I would skip Torcello , but it’s just me and my preferences. you might enjoy it . Isabella ( our guide) was a superwoman: she guided all people at once and spoke 5 languages. All info was offered in 5 languages. overall: lovely experience

We had planned this and my wife was looking forward to it, found it a bit under whelming after main other sights of Venice and sadley it started to rain, but we did enjoy the glass blowing on Murano and the church on Torcello.

The first 2 islands Murano and Burano were simply stunning. We could have spent the whole day on either. The 3rd island was OK for a quick stop but not much there.

I don't think it is the companies fault but I wouldn't suggest especially if you are in Venice for short duration and for the first time. The tour was 25 Euros per person and when you visit these three islands in one day, you spend lots of time on ship. You don't have a lot of time on the islands, I would prefer spending more time in Murano and Burano. Only advantage is the glass factory and the live demonstration/show which I think doesn't worth the extra money when compared to the cost of normal transportation. After the demonstration, tour continues to the shop of the factory, I think it is kind of tourist trap. The tour makes you think the things in the shop are special for that factory, Maybe not everything but most of the things in factory shop can be found in any other souvenir shop in Venice, for cheaper price. The ship was OK and the crew were nice but I think doesn't worth the money in the end.

Unfortunately the day of the tour was very thick fog, which meant we couldn’t see much in the boat ride to the islands - totally not the fault if the tour operators

Another great experience with Viatour! You haven’t seen Venice until you take it to the water and visit Murano, Burano and Torcello! Too amazing to describe. You’ll just have to book this tour! Talk about a bang for your buck!

Manish_S

The guide only gave info while on boat and did not accompany on the islands. Nowhere it was written that he will only give commentary only on boat.
