Avo was an amazing tour guide! I learned so much about chocolate, beer, and the history of Brussels during this tour. Avo is so knowledgeable about everything beer and chocolate. It was also obvious he loved talking about his city and his country. There were several chocolate samples from a variety of regions and local shops included and Avo explained each one very throughly. I also really appreciated him taking the time to research local stores who use fair trade ingredients. So much beer! Come ready to drink, but don’t worry, you aren’t pressured to finish and tons of snacks were provided. Avo was incredibly friendly and the whole tour really felt like hanging out with a friend who knows a bunch of awesome stuff. I highly recommend booking this tour! You will love it!

This is a must do tour if you want to experience Brussels. It has it all: Beer, waffles, frites, and chocolate. You get samples of chocolate and beer along with recommendations for where to buy it all. The tour guide is beyond knowledgeable and friendly. The tour is small so it feels personal. We would do it again in a heartbeat. Best tour ever!

Avo isn't just an ordinary tour guide, he's an experience. Before we even left the states, was already in contact with us in regards to our food allergy and went the extra step to make sure we were both included. His knowledge of the interworkings of the process of Chocolate in amazing. Not only did we try the best chocolate Brussels had to offer, but we learned the process of how the plants grow and how the seeds are crushed to make the finest of chocolate. The same was with his knowledge of beer and how the brewing is done and by which monks and Abby's. He truly loves his city and tells you the no frills about the history of his country. You can see how passionate he his by his reactions to your expressions with each taste and with the stories he shares. He truly is the best tour guide we have ever encountered. By the end of the tour we felt like we have known him for years. We would recommend him to our friends and families with ease. Make sure to book a tour with him on your trip to Brussels.

Avo was amazing! His passion for the city and his sheer knowledge is incredible but he does it in a really fun and engaging way. He knows all the best places and spots to sample the many chocolates and beers. He made us feel so welcome and he clearly valued everyone in the group.
