Queen City Rides Ernesto Review must log into Google Booked with Queen City Rides and enjoyed taking in all of Charlotte, on an eco-friendly golf cart tour!! Ernesto was an amazing tour guide, we learned so much from why "Hornets" is a coined name to Charlotte, derived from the city's fierce resistance to British occupation during the Revolutionary War, which prompted the British commander, Lord Cornwallis, to refer to it as "a veritable hornet's nest of rebellion". Art has taken over the streets with beautiful murals everywhere that have a positive affect in so many interesting aspects you wouldn't think of Ernesto mentioned, Charlotte so home of the largest banking operations than anywhere else almost every building in the city owned by Wells and BOA and the home to a he NASCAR Hall to Fame, to learning the Carolina Panther team logo is actually in the shape of the two states North and South Carolina if you tilt it slightly right, seeing the oldest church in the city built in 1802 and the Queen City getting its official name from Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, the queen consort of British King George III during the time of the city's founding. And my favorite part of the sightseeing was a cruise through the most beautiful historic original neighborhood with gorgeous Victorian Homes, worth a fortune in the uptown area! Ernesto didn't leave one thing out, he was very friendly, knowledgeable and answered any questions we asked, he was an incredible tour guide and I wish more places I've visited would offer good cart tours, it's genius and made our tour even better, but if visiting Charlotte, I highly recommend Queen City Tours and ask for Ernesto!!! I would give 10 stars if I could!!!

Very informative. Learned a lot about Charlotte. Our tour guy, David Thomas, was knowledgeable, friendly, and responsive to our questions and requests. Definitely a great way to learn about Charlotte if you’re new to the city.

Our tour guide Adrienne was VERY knowledgeable and friendly as she carried us through the 4 wards of Charlotte. Her enthusiasm and true understanding of the "backstory" that contributes to the character of this city, made this a wonderful tour. Afterwards she even helped us navigate downtown to some nice French pastry and coffee. Wonderful memory.

Steve was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable, friendly and funny. He totally added to the tour. The tour had very interesting points.

Driving through Charlotte, on a beautiful day. Tour guide was knowledgeable. The ward locations are confusing as the streets go on angles, not north/south. A paper map to follow along would have been helpful. Tour time could be reduced to one hour.

Danny was so knowledgeable and friendly with everyone..would highly recommend the tour to anyone. We decided to try put several spots that were mentioned om the tour.

The experience was great I learned that Queen Charlotte never lived in the states. I now know why there is no downtown because the city is on a hill

We had a great time with David as our guide. It was a very informative tour- we now know the difference of uptown, downtown, and midtown. 😂 and why it’s called the Queen City. It was a great way to see the downtown and learn the history of Charlotte .
