I hopped on in Senate Square, and the stop was very easy to find. I had booked my pass online in advance, but it was also possible to buy one from a nearby stand. The audio was informative, and made it clear which stop was the next one. Said stops were also close to places of interest. I hopped off to see the Rock Church, and then walked to the Sibelius Monument. The latter was also on the bus route, and I didn't have to wait too long to hop on again. My ticket was valid for 48 hours, and so I did the tour in full the next day. I have done City Sightseeing tours in a few other cities, and have always been impressed. Thanks for everything!

Not worth it. Long waits. Drop offs not close to sites. Public transport was super easy. Other city hop ons are much better.

My daughter and I usually do walking tours, but with limited time and distances in Helsinki, we opted for the bus. It was fine, but we still prefer our walking tours of cities to get more historical information.

The bus is supposed to arrive every 30minutes. In reality it is every 45-60 minutes. When it arrives it is crowded and there is no space to sit. Additonally, they drive only from 10AM to 4PM. With the fact that the bus only arrives every 45 minutes and you also need to eat lunch, there is no time left at all. The price is way too high. Since it was crowded, there where also no headphones available for us. I used this bus in other cities and the service was always mugh better. Please please just use public transport and Google as a guide and safe the money.

I drive bus number FKA985 ( Date 21July2023) with a Russian look drive:( he is super rude angry unprofessional driver , It's worst expensive ever I had in my life

The excursion itself was a good one being able to hop on and hop off to explore. The only problem during the time my family was there it was a holiday and so most everything was closed so we were unable to explore a lot of things. I do feel it would be a good experience if everything was open.

Lovely city made very accessible with an excellent bus tour lasting 90 minutes. The bus was immaculately clean and modern. Heikki our bus driver was so helpful too and spoke excellent English.

I always do the hop on hop off bus in a new city. Great way to get your bearings. I always just do the whole circuit rather than relying on the bus for transportation. A little forward planning goes a long way. In Helsinki there are two similar companies, the City Sightseeing Helsinki bus ( which waits outside the Senate Square) and the Hop on Hop off bus which waits a little further down from the square. I took the City Sighttseeing bus from Senate Square. For 32 euros it was very good. I’m glad the top wasn’t open like the other company as it’s cold in Helsinki in May. Apparently the companies do slightly different routes. I quite liked the one I did. Saw some suburbs and the commentary was interesting. I think because the Baltic states cruises aren’t happening currently these buses aren’t as crowded as they used to be. Maybe that will change. I’m happy with my experience on the City Sightseeing bus. Nb I took my own earphones, they have a jack point that fits in the bus audio system. I wouldn’t rely on these buses for moving around the city, I would use the public tram system for that. I wrote a review on how to use them as well. The trams are very quick and reliable to get around.

It was a good way to see the city and use it as a means to get to other places i wanted to visit (without loads of waking or extra cost) There was a bit of information via the headphones not no guides which is often the best bit as they can share amusing anecdotes or interesting historical facts Also, be mindful that the buses were only every 30-40 mins (might change in peak times)

I and my friends had an one-day visit to Helsinki and were able to go by Stromma's "Hop On - Hop Off Bus Citysightseeing Helsinki" and "Urban Helsinki Bus Sightseeing" tours. Both are great tours. "Hop On - Hop Off Citysightseeing Helsinki" is of course a more flexible way to discover Helsinki if you want to combine the day with many other things. Comfortable buses, audio devices working well, I preferred English audio language instead of the Swedish even I'm Swedish, nicer voice. For those who likes design and architectural history I would recommend the "Urban Helsinki Bus Sightseeing" - a 1:45hr tour of Helsinki’s architectural history, the city’s modern residential areas, the urban districts and the historical areas, as well a 45-minute stop at the Iittala and Arabia Design Centre & Museum. Stromma does offer several other various tours within and around Helsinki. In the common all of the tours have friendly Stromma staff. Also when getting in contact by phone or mail my experience is that they're friendly and do help out with any questions. Also Stromma will organize a live guided tour on Christmas Day. Maybe Stromma will bring Santa Claus?
