    We did a full day with Juan. He has a great vehicle and had a wealth of information on all things Panama. We had some unusual requests of things to see and he had great info on all of them. We really enjoyed our time.

    Booked a personalized tour with the sites that interested me most through Manakin Adventures, and am so glad I did. Tour guide Juan Jose took me to see the canal highlights at Miraflores and beyond, and gave me a birding tour walking up the Ancon Hill, all along telling me about life in Panama. It was exactly what I wanted. Manakin being a small, local business is not always able to accommodate special requests, but I recommend you do.

    Juan was very adaptable with the different things I wanted to see and experience. It went beyond just walking through the city. I was able to get up close and personal with locals, which was the biggest experience I wanted. I was able to eat at a place I had read about. The ruins and old Panama cities were a highlight for me! it was interesting to learn the history of the country, and see the contrast of the old and the new cities. This is one of my favorite days. Thank you so much Juan!

    Juan was an excellent guide for our single day tour of Panama City. My mother and I were interested in a trip that was slightly different than what is typically advertised--we were interested in seeing the Panama Canal's Miraflores Locks, Panama Viejo, and the areas around the Biomuseo. But we were also sidetracked with wanting to see the local birds and mammals! Juan went out of his way to make sure that we could see a three-toed sloth and was very adaptable when our attention turned more towards the animals on the tour rather than the history of the city. When I had lamented that we had not gotten proper ceviche while in Panama, he changed our lunch plans to go to the fish market down by Casco Viejo! We had a great time and learned a lot. Thank you Juan!
