This cooking class was the perfect authentic food experience we were looking for in Italy!!! Chef Monica was so friendly and taught us how to simply make two types of delicious pasta and our own tiramisu while continuing to pour us wine! We then sat to enjoy our meal with the other couple in our class! A highlight from our trip to Lake Como!

It's exciting to make -- and eat -- Italian cuisine with your own hands. Pasta is a fundamental element of Italian food that's been eaten all over Italy. Varenna is part of Lombardy where traditional cuisine is valued. Pesto is made with wheaten flour. Tiramisu is "Dolce," that is, sweet. Apart from creating something tasty, you will learn some culinary skills.

Luca and Patrizia were incredible hosts. The recipes were easy to follow and being hands on was a ton of fun. Great conversation, incredible food, and many laughs were had. I would recommend this to anyone visit the Varenna area, as they host with an attitude to learn as much about their guests as they teach.

Our cooking lesson was cancelled less than 8 hours before the lesson with no explanation at all and only through an email from TripAdvisor. Extremely unprofessional. Had we not seen the email, we would have shown up to the Cesarine’s home. We had organized our whole itinerary for the day around this cooking lesson and was very disappointing to have it cancelled so last minute, without any effort to find us another lesson. I would recommend booking with a more reliable group for a cooking lesson experience in the Lake Como area.

Wonderful experience- husband and I took the fresh pasta & tiramisu cooking class and had such a great time with Patrizia. The house was beautiful with breathtaking views. Patrizia is an amazing person and very professional- super dedicated to us, teaching us everything about traditional ingredients, tips, seasoning, cooking times, etc. Coffee, and cheese & wine while cooking. Great time. We made both Tortelloni and Tagliatelli plus Tiramisu as desert. The food was spectacular. I definitely recommend this class and Patrizia. Tou will not forget such a memorable experience.

This cooking class topped off our vacation. I dare say it was our most favorite and definitely most memorable part. Patricia and Luca are the most wonderful people. They are kind, friendly, generous, thoughtful, the list could go on forever. They were genuinely excited to welcome us into their home and teach us how to make delicious food while also making sure we were enjoying every moment. We would come back to Italy just to hangout with Luca and Patricia again!

It was an amazing time with Patrizia! She was a wonderful host for the three of us, and we truly enjoyed learning how to make pasta and tiramisu. In addition, the aperitivo was so good. The highlight though was learning more about the area, getting tips for our next day in Milan (which were great!), and simply getting to know a little bit about the cultrue and area. If we are ever able to be back we will definitely do this again. Thanks for a wonderful time Patrizia!

Patrizia and her husband were very gracious hosts, and we had a great time learning how to make pasta and tiramisu. The views were beautiful, and Patrizia helped us to arrange a taxi driver to take us to the location and back to the port. It was a wonderful experience!
