    This was by far my favorite activity from our trip to Spain. I organized a trip to Spain for my 50th birthday celebration as I had studied in Madrid 30 years ago. I took 7 of my friends on this trip and they all agreed this was the best group activity. Our tour guide, Fernando, made it great! He was so well versed, highly knowledgeable, and such a great storyteller. Cuenca and the Enchanted City were so beautiful and came to life because of how Fernando told their stories. I did not know what to expect other than a city built on cliffs. This full day trip is worth the time and money spent. I am very happy we went on the trip, just be prepared to walk leisurely throughout the trip and bring a water bottle.

    Fernando picked us up on time and we headed for an amazing tour! First we saw the devil's window before going on to cuidad Encanto with gorgeous rock formations formed eons ago; it was a glorious sight and shouldn't be missed. However, visiting cuenca was one of my travel highlights; a UNESCO site unlike any I've ever seen. Don't miss this tour!!!

    Fernando was a great guide. Very knowledgeable, funny at times and kept us at a good pace. He knew how yo keep the tour interesting at all times.

    Fernando was awesome. He explained everything very well and did it in a fun way, both in Spanish and in English. He was also super kind taking care of an older lady with a walking stick. The tour was well organized. The enchanted city (Cuidad Encantada) is very beautiful. The rock formations are very unique. The old city is small but very cute. The cathedral is really beautiful even though I only had 25 minutes to wander through it during the limited free time at the Plaza Mayor. Gracias por todo, Fernando y José! 😀

    If you enjoy nature and history, this trip is for you. It begins with a teaser at Devil’s Window to prepare you for the incredible sights the Enchanted City has to offer— a trip back in time through a geological park of wonders. The lunch break before the tour of Cuenca was equally generous with time as we were able to enjoy a leisurely and top-notch meal made from locally sourced ingredients and heritage recipes. Cuenca has to be seen and experienced to understand how amazingly charming the city is with its ancient pathways and impressive architecture. Fernando was an excellent and entertaining guide, providing anecdotes and information in Spanish and English that kept the entire group informed and amused. His relaxed and sometimes humorous delivery made the tour more engaging. Roberto was polite and professional, and kept us all on schedule and drove us with care from each destination. Be prepared to walk a great deal for this tour that takes up the entire day and brings you back to Madrid past 8 PM. But it’s all worth it and more. I am recommending this tour to friends and family who want a loaded day that is worth more than the money they spend for it.

    We will make a stop at the Ventano del Diablo viewpoint, with spectacular views over the Júcar canyon. We will be able to observe vultures or Egyptian vultures, among other birds, flying over our heads

    The Enchanted City is a natural place that was declared Natural Site of National Interest in 1929. Nowadays, it is included within the limits of the Natural Park of Serranía de Cuenca (PNSC), and declared as High-priority Protection Area by its exceptional geomorphological value of international interest
