What to expect
Weather Machine
The Weather Machine is about 30-feet high and includes two bronze wind scoops. The Weather Machine took five years to plan and build, came at a cost of about $60,000, and it was installed in the square in August of 1988.
Portlandia
Portlandia is the second-largest copper repoussé statue in the United States, after the Statue of Liberty. The composition is a metalworking technique. Malleable metal is shaped by hammering from the reverse side to create a design.
The experience can be subject to change due to bad weather or unforseen circumstances. We always endeavour to give you the best possible experience.
