    Both the Polycentric and the Royal Tombs museums were fantastic - laid out well and well-signed and providing great experiences. Our only quibble is that the times ticket is for a one-hour window and it takes at least that amount of time to see even one. The ticket was expired by the time we got to the second museum but the attendant let us in with an admonition.

    Nice and modern museum. We visited the museum on a winter Saturday morning. We parked right in front of the main entrance. When we return to our car, we found it broken. We have been stolen things worth more than 1000 euros. Nobody from the museum seemed to care about the incident. The police told us that this is a frequent occurence, and thate the museum does not take measures against it. They neither employ a security guard, nor post warning signs to visitors despite the police recomendations.

    The Polycentric Museum consists of two parts, which can be visited for a total price of EUR 15. On the one hand the tombs of Philip II, among others, as well as a new modern museum, which shows very great individual objects found in the course of the archaeological excavations. Attention the distance between both sites is quite far, so it makes sense to use the car.

    I was on a workshop tour, and we stopped here as a break in our driving. So glad we did. I am not a museum person, don't hate them and don't love them, BUT this one was outstanding. I was fascinated with what they were able to collect and how they chose to exhibit them. It is very well done, everyone in our group agreed. The tombs were so cool. I have never seen or read anything like this. Highly recommend stopping here! Worth it.
