It was a great experience. We booked the tour believing we were part of a group but no, we had a prived tour.
Our tour guide was quite new but he proved him self worthy. He is very friendly and professional. But most of all skilled and funny.
We had a very interesting tour and saw all the animals we would like to see.

I, unsuccessfully tried to reply to this message the night of the event. There was a steady downpour in the hours before the scheduled departure. Approximately one hour prior to departure I texted the local guide, inquiring about the likelihood of the event continuing. I repeated that appeal about 30 minutes later; followed shortly by a phone call - leaving a voice message. Particularly given that no one answered the phone at the site where we were meeting, I made the assumption that no one was there and the event was cancelled. I never received any response from my messages.

We did an amazing night walk here with Paolo and his brother. We saw a lot of animals during our walk. They were also incredible knowledgable and great fun! They have really set up an amazing family project and you can tell they care a lot about the flora and fauna on their property!

We had a delightful night time walk through the rain forest with Sarapiqui Xperience and can recommend it highly. The walk is an easy stroll and the guide's flashlight illuminated numerous frogs, insects (including one in process of molting), sleeping birds, and one sloth. We were given good flashlights as well and discovered frogs and insects ourselves. All in all, a magical experience we were very happy we had on our itinerary.

Our visit to Sarapiqui Xperience was one of the highlights of our four-week trip through Costa Rica. We had asked the guide of our nightwalk at Tirimbina Lodge where we could see Hondurian White Bats and he recommended Pablo from Sarapiqui Xperience. Pablo is very friendly and he searched for the Hondurian White Bats the day before we visited him (we had not even booked a tour by then). So he knew exactly where to find them during our tour - and we will never forget these cute white cotton balls under their "tent" built from Heliconia leafs. But Pablo's main expertise is that he is an expert for frogs and he is creating habitats for many species by planting exactly the plants/fruits these species are feeding on. A very time consuming and work intensive strategy - but one we definitively wanted to support. And that's why his frog nightwalk is just amazing - we did not only see dozens of frogs, but also a porcupine and many fascinating birds, reptiles and insects we didn't see elsewhere.
