Spiaggia Rosa

The Pink Beach is so called because of the colour of its sand. The splendid colouring is due to a pink micro-organism that infests the posidonia meadows and lives inside the shells. When it dies, the shells are washed ashore, being broken up by the action of the water. Anchoring and irregular sea agitation have caused the posidonia to recede and changed the sand composition. Since 1998, the introduction of regulations to fully protect the beach, closed to landing (also to avoid new sand looting) bathing and boat anchoring, have allowed it to slightly regain its colouring. We will take a short break from the boat, keeping a distance from the buoys that mark it off.

6

Spargi

The island of Spargi... is one of the last corners of paradise on earth. Enchantingly beautiful and wild, with its coastline sculpted by the force of the mistral wind and enchanting coves with fine sand, it is a dream for our tourists and an oasis for wildlife. We will continue with a panoramic sail around the coast of Spargi Island: Cala Connari, Cala dell'amore, Cala Corsara and Cala Soraya. We will then reach the beautiful inlet of Cala Granara and afterwards, while sailing, we will admire the famous rocks of Testa della Strega, the Bulldog Dog and Italy in miniature. Here we will make our third stop on the beach and you will have plenty of time to swim and photograph the beauty of the bay. For hikers and walkers, Spargi is unique with its beautiful nature trails and military forts.
