    It was a grey morning when we arrived in at the beach and so similar to what the Allies saw when they arrived. It was poignant and sombering to witness the waves of crosses and stars of David.

    One of the most humbling experiences of my life. Tour guide and bus were great. Must do event if you are into that type of history.

    Excellent guide with knowledge and respect to the history and sacrifice of the fallen. Breath taking views but also amazing history lesson to my kids about our past. Our guide was truly AMAZING

    Going to Normandy was amazing. Hard to understand the tour guide. He got short with me when I asked him a question. He told me he already talked about that and I said well I was in the back of the bus and I couldn't understand him. No bathrooms on the bus ( there was one but couldn't use it) not good with elderly people. Local company cancelled our original date and did not contact Viator. They did get us on the next day. However when we tried to rearrange what we had the next day we were bluntly told no changes/no refunds. I tried to explain what happened and the response was “sorry about that”

    Booked this tour from Paris after the Olympics, it’s a must do. Solo traveler from NY. You hit all the main spots, there are many so they are relatively short, but all are important. Lunch spot is a beautiful town on the beach with plenty of shops. There aren’t any irrelevant stops at wineries or any of the other places that the other companies go to. I wanted to see history, not taste wine. Nice bus, tour guide spoke good English and had a good knowledge of events, everything went well, recommend.

    Normandy

    Let us do the driving while you discover history. Your Normandy day trip from Paris starts with the 3-4-hour drive to France’s northwest coast. Your journey will take through some scenery landscapes before you reach at 10am your first stop.

    Omaha Beach: one of the toughest american landings. You will know all about the American assault during the Early hours hours of June 6, 1944, one of the most longstanding examples of American military triumph and also an event synonymous with death and destruction.

    You will then be able to pay your respects in the eery calm of the American Cemetery and Memorial, where nearly 10,000 US military war dead lie in this most humbling tribute.

    Longues-sur-Mer

    The Longues-sur-Mer battery Longues-sur-Mer; also designated Widerstandsnes is a World War II German coastal artillery battery approximately 1 km (0.62 mi) north of the village of Longues-sur-Mer in Normandy, France. The battery is sited on a 60 m (200 ft) cliff overlooking the Baie de Seine and formed a part of Germany's Atlantic Wall coastal fortifications, between the Allied landing sectors of Gold Beach and Omaha Beach.

    Juno Beach

    Stop at the Juno Beach Center, witness of the Canadian soldiers' struggle to end the Nazi tyranny. Time to return back to Paris! You will be dropped at the departure point by 8:00PM.
