Starting from Piazza Pola, it is impossible not to admire the remains of the Church of Sant'Agostino, the Palazzo Di Quattro, the Church of Santa Teresa and its Collegio. And again: Piazza Chiaramonte, where the Church of San Francesco dell'Immacolata stands, Palazzo Battaglia the first built after the great earthquake, the Church of the Annunziata, Palazzo Arezzi, the Church of San Giorgio. But the religious buildings are really numerous: the Church of Santa Maria dei Miracoli, of Santa Barbara, of the Anime Purganti. To see Piazza degli Archi, the Church of San Paolo, San Bartolomeo del Carmine, Santa Maria delle Scale. We are talking about an authentic open-air museum, one of the most fascinating places in the area of the Iblei mountains.
