Great experience at Sawgrass with my family. Our guide, Mike, was very knowledgeable and funny as well. We so two gators out in the glades. The animal exhibit was a nice bonus as my boys enjoyed holding a baby gator. Would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for something to do in the Fort Lauderdale area.

We have taken this same tour four times over the years. We have seen lots of alligator each time and other wildlife. It is a great time for all ages including small children. We will be back.

Talk about poor communication and safety hazards! We arrived 45min early and glad we did! There is no signage or lighting to indicate where to go after hours to park or check in. We head for the store in the dark up slanted stairs and go into the store as this is the only building with lights and are promptly told to “wait outside, we will let you know when to check in.” Then we are told to head for the boat down inclines - again no lights to guide us. The boat ride driver seemed in a hurry to finish the ride as fast as possible because we caught up to the first boat that left approx 10 min before us - I found this excursion a complete rip off and waste of time to see 2 alligators, a bird amd an eguana in a tree -

When we found out our day trip later in the week was going to be rained out we quickly jumped onto the calendar and found out they were doing a night trip in just a few hours! Booking was a breeze, check-in was a breeze, and off we went. Our captain must have psychic relations with the Gators because even going as fast as we were going he was scanning the Everglades with a large spotlight and immediately would stop and go over to where a gator was. He told us he looks for their orange eyes glowing back in the light that only he can see at his angle sitting high above us on the boat. In one hour we saw five gators. But the most spectacular part of it was the last Gator that we saw actually entertained us. He swam around our boat, he posed for pictures, he smiled, he went under our boat ...came up on the other side... and basically stayed there until we left. The captain continually reposition the boat so both sides could see him very clearly, (a little too up close and personal, at times, if you ask me. You could reach over and touch him if you didn't want your limb. Lol.) There was a certain element of mystery doing this at night. It was a full moon and you could see in front of you but you were still cruising along in the darkness. That part of it was really spectacular. I highly recommend this tour. I even feel if we did not see gators it would have been worth it because just cruising along by moonlight was really wonderful.

Our Captin was very personable and knowledgeable about the environment. Gators were out moving, and weather was perfect. The Captin was helpful getting my husband on and off the boat. My husband had his leg amputated and is on crutches. Only negative about this experience is NO Lights from the parking lot to the gift shop. It was dark, steps were uneven and steps were not flat. This was very difficult and challenging to climb up and then down. No lights we’re turned on!! Make sure your cellphone is charged to use as a flashlight.

Unique adventure in the Florida Everglades at night. I would recommend it to anyone looking for something a little different but fun. You will encounter some wildlife, not just alligators. I only wished there was more. Be advised, alligators spend a lot of time underwater so there's always a chance of the viewing being kind of sparse.
