What to expect

On this 2.5 hour walking tour, your knowledgeable guide (Professional Forager and Native Plant and Mushroom Specialist, Jerry Novak) will teach you about wild edible and medicinal plants, lichen and fungi of the Pacific Northwest. This is an easy walk through forest, riparian, and wetland habitats to learn sustainable foraging techniques and when and how to harvest and prepare the gifts of nature you probably walk past every day. Bring foraging equipment or simply enjoy the walk, ask questions and learn.
