Chebika
Pick up at your place of stay or at Tozeur airport and departure for the oases of Chebika, its panoramic view. Chebika is a mountain oasis located in the south of Tunisia, in the Tameghza delegation, in the western part of the Tozeur governorate. The name Chebika in Tunisian Arabic means “small net” because the water as it flows through the waterfalls of the oasis forms liquid nets and meshes.

Visit the old town of Tamerza and its waterfall Tameghza is a mountain oasis located in the west-central part of Tunisia (Governorate of Tozeur). It is located about 450 kilometers from Tunis and 70 kilometers from Tozeur. It is in this region of mountain oases that some scenes of the film The English Patient are shot.

Continuation to the Canyons of Midès Old Midès is almost entirely in ruins. There are only a few ‘Berber Products’ shops left. It should be noted that this village was inhabited until 1969, when a major flood destroyed much of the villages in the area. Economic activity in this region is based largely on oasian agriculture, especially date production as well as ecological and sahaNC tourism. The Ras El Ain palm grove, also known as Nefta Basket, is a unique historic site, located in a large 1km diameter green bowl, surrounded by the city’s urban buildings. Today, to revive the somewhat abandoned Nafta Basket, the NGO club Unesco de Nefta, accompanied by many oasian actors, has taken the initiative to carry out activities for the development and restoration of this historic site.
