    We loved everything about the experience. Our driver Dionne was great!! Our only feedback was waiting over 45 min after the gator tour drop off. We wish we could have explored the plantation more with that time. We sat at picnic tables waiting for the swamp tour. All time appreciated on vacation!

    We attended the tour of the Oak Alley Plantation,and Air boat swamp ride.The tour driver was punctual,and she provided amazing facts about landmarks throughout our drive.Oak Alley Plantation was an awesome learning experience,and we even had a chance to hold a wild baby gator on the air boat tour.This was definitely an experience that we will never forget!!

    Nous avons apprécié notre journée. La plantation était magnifique, mais la visite était jn peu expéditive. Le guide était difficile à comprendre mais une traduction écrite en français était disponible à l'entrée. Le restaurant du dîner était parfait. Propre, climatisé et les fruits de mer ultra frais! Nous avons même visité le marché de fruits de mer et discuté avec les pêcheurs. Finalement le tour en aéroglisseur était très amusant. Nous avons vu seulement 2 alligators...peut-être à cause de la chaleur extrême, mais plusieurs oiseaux. Nous avons pu prendre dans nos mains un bébé alligator. Seul bémol...le bayou est près de la ville et des pilones électriques traversaient le bayou...ça coupe un peu l'atmosphère. Transport en autobus et guide très sympathique.

    Oak Alley Plantation is located 75 miles and about 1hour from the French Quarter. Travel along Great River Road and marvel at the beautiful Antebellum Mansions along the way.

    Oak Alley Plantation

    Oak Alley Plantation includes gracious interiors that echo the romance of another era, where gleaming hardwood floors and shimmering chandeliers reflect both streams of sunlight, and the venerable history of this magnificent home.The Slavery at Oak Alley exhibit it shares the story of those who were enslaved on this sugar plantation from approximately 1835 to the end of the Civil War. It also shares the daily life of these slaves, including topics such as healthcare, punishment and life after Emancipation. The Confederate Commanding Officer’s Tent exhibit. The Sugar Cane Theater, it tells the story of sugar’s impact on the people of Oak Alley, through video and exhibit. Black Smith Shop House, one of the few remaining 1890s era forges of its type in Louisiana.

    Have you ever wanted to enjoy an enchanting boat ride across a swamp? If your answer is yes, as it probably is, then the place to go is New Orleans via our guided swamp tours. We take you across all the heavenly Cajun Swamp where you take a 90 minutes low-speed boat ride. The Cajun Captains will navigate their way through the back swamp. You will learn about Louisiana Wetlands, the inhabitants of the swamp, the life and habits of the American Alligators.
