    Despite heavy rain for the 1st half of the day the trip turned out to be an amazing success. Just after arriving at Glenfiddan the sun came out, the rain dried up and the views all around were glorious. We climbed the steps to the viewpoint and awaited the Jacobite/Hogwarts steam-train which arrived only 5 minutes later than the time it was due to cross, it was amazing, there was a large gathering of tourists and the train choo choo’d and puffed as it crossed. Scot from Scotland was very funny, spoke beautifully in his Scottish accent and every word was understood. He told historical stories of kings and queens all from memory and didn’t skip a beat, he even had music to go with the stories. Thoroughly enjoyed the day, we had an hour and half at Genfiddan which was by far the main attraction. We had chips at the last stop in a beautiful Scottish town.

    It was a good trip, unique locations, something worthy also of taking the rain but believe me it’s unique and rare as an experience. I suggest that it could be interesting adding one or two locations related to the TV Series Outlander. Sadly, I would say that the organization with the bus’s seats wasn’t so good, I had to travel separated from my girlfriend that has some issues (like headaches etc.) by not travelling in Pullman on the window side, I also told to the driver to give me an alternative solution but… zero help! Little advice for the company itself: when you do the checkins before departure, it should be good putting together those who travel solos so the other free seats will be available for couples or families who have kids with them.

    Scott was a great guide and the trip was really fun! A lot of great views and funny and impressing stories about the Highlanders and Scottish history.

    The tour guide Alastair was fantastic. It’s a long day but is very nice. The bus is very nice so you can relax on it. There is ample time for breaks and sightseeing. The Loch Ness boat ride was rather quick at 50 minutes.

    Great day out, recommend if you want to see more of Scotland but only have a short time. Enjoyed all Alistair's stories about Scottish history

    Callander

    Our first stop for refreshments and a comfort break is Callander, where you will have a chance to grab a snack and stretch your legs. If you're lucky enough, you may have the chance to meet the Highland Cows (season dependant).

    Loch Tulla Viewpoint

    We make a brief stop in this scenic location to take in the views across Loch Tulla and Glen Orchy

    Glencoe

    The site of the 1692 massacre of the MacDonald Clan, Glencoe is one of Scotland’s most famous glens. Here you will hop off for a photo opportunity with the dramatic northern ridges known as the Three Sisters

    Fort Augustus

    A chance to grab some lunch and take part in an optional Loch Ness Boat cruise. For those not on the cruise, we have over an hour here which is plenty time to grab a coffee and have a wander around.

    Commando Monument

    Another opportunity for photos as we stop on the outskirts of Spean Bridge at the Commando memorial. Unrivalled views down towards Fort William and the UK's highest mountain Ben Nevis. Depending on timings, this stop may be subject to change

    Pitlochry

    Stopping in the Victorian resort town of Pitlochry for a chance to stretch the legs and grab some light refreshments before the final leg of the journey home
