We booked another company's Venice trip through TripAdvisor. But when that tour was cancelled due to guide being ill, we booked Zani Viaggi tour through their website. It was easy to book, and bonus- cost less than other tour. Having done the other tour through other company previously here is what we noticed. Zani Viaggi used a big tour bus which was a little more comfortable, but meant more people on tour and bus driving time took even longer. The local tour guide Marco in Venice was wonderful- very humorous and knowledgeable. It was an extremely crowded weekend day in Venice- making navigating harder. Tour was shorter than tour we had with other company previously. That is both bad and good. Tour was in San Marco square only, then to a location nearby to see the glass making. We were allowed to skip that and go on to our free time. (Too hot for us to stay in that crowded hot room to see the glass making) The great thing about this tour was MORE FREE TIME! We really liked that. Read What to Expect- you will not see Rialto Bridge with the guide, but are free to do that on your own. Our guide with us on our bus and during the tour was Monica. She was wonderful keeping us all informed and together. Our bus drivers were also very good. Would we recommend- Yes! What to expec (not just this tour company, but any one from Milan to Venice tour)t: LONG LONG DAY (14+ hours), crowded, hectic! Bus trips take a long time to Venice- but you just ride and the guides take care of other details like the boat ride to Venice. Be prepared on this or any other tour to Venice by bringing water, Euros for the pay toilets, and come armed with your own maps so that you can find where you want to go. We did not do the gondola ride- but that is offered to you as an option. This is a taste of Venice- you will not be disappointed. You will be enchanted! We are grateful to have had the chance to return to Venice when last minute our other tour was cancelled and we scrambled and our hotel suggested Zani Viaggi. Thank you Zani Viaggi for making our dream of returning to Venice possible!

Our tour guides, Monica and Marco, were informative. The best part of the tour was the gondola. I would definitely suggest this your to everyone

5 stars for Najma and Lorenzo! They made sure everyone knew where they were going and that things are kept on time, which is important since Venice is quite far from Milan.

I book for hotel pick up and was never picked up I need my money back . This is very frustrating I had to book with another agent

Oh my goodness this was a great trip. The guides wanted to make sure we were having a good time. The tour guide in Venice was so funny and very knowledgeable. We went the first week of March which is not in season. I would not want to go in the summer with crowds as there is only so much room in this area.

The Venice day trip was great! Awesome guide! Salvatore, our guide was really awesome! The Zani tours in Milan which viator partnered with weren’t that great! They were rude and unempathetic. Also the bus to Venice did not have working power outlet. For this long tour. The bus must have working outlets to charge phone etc. The hotel pickup was great, but they picked up an hour earlier and made us wait on the road as the tour start time wasn’t until then. But bec if a great guide, id still give five stars. Could not have asked for more!!

Venice is beautiful and the tour guide was AWESOME!! Will definitely visit again and take this tour again.

Very good experience, the only problem that a microphone for a local guide was not working good. The trip organazer Alexandro was very informative, and the driver was great.

Unbelievable once-in-a-lifetime experience! We really enjoyed the tour which included bus, boat rides, and an awesome tour guide.

The city itself was beautiful, and surreal. The trip was very long, quite boring and they left 5 of us in Venice. I as a blind person requested assistance but absolutely none was given apart from some other guests on the trip. I was left to my own devices in the first stop to get food and drink, and we were informed about a gondola ride. The ride was cash only and again no one helped me get cash but just told me to go to cash machines or currency exchange. Not really the help I needed but I managed. The tour of the glass making factory was a quick 2/3 minute demo of something being made and then a tour of everything you can buy, more of a sales pitch rather than insight into making etc. We were made aware of some points of attraction but was quite misinformed. We were recommended several times to visit the realtor bridge as it was “10 minutes away from pick up point” we went on recommendation and that’s how we became lost and stranded in Venice. I was phoned by the company but there was no help really as with my sight issue they couldn’t help. They pin pointed me but said I was too far away to help me so they had to leave me. I managed to get to the station with the help of a street vendor and caught the train back to my hotel at a cost of €59. This was actually better in the end as even though I’d paid for “pick up and drop off” we were informed they don’t actually drop you off, so it’s more like pick up service. As you can tell here it’s more about getting you there rather than much else. I’d definitely recommend going to Venice but maybe plan your own trip. I don’t really know if it’s viatours issue or the company they use in Milan but I’d definitely not recommend the Milan company.
