    I missed the train which means I basically missed the tour. BUT the company worked with me to help me save the day. They arranged a car to drive us back and forth to Pompei from the train station and for the private guide to give me two hours. They were very easy to communicate with and extremely helpful.

    Our time in Pompeii and at the Herculaneum was AWESOME!! The high speed train between Rome and Naples was very easy/convenient. Our driver Massimo was very friendly and a proud life long citizen of Naples sharing all kinds of Naples trivia and such. Mena, our guide for the day was incredible. Very knowledgeable, entertaining, accommodating, personable. My wife and I had a wonderful time. Highly recommend and would encourage folks to visit both Pompeii and the Herculaneum. Also give yourself 2-3 hrs after the tour before taking the train back to Rome to walk around downtown Naples a bit and have a late lunch. There is not time for lunch during the tours.
