The group was great. We got our bikes right away. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable. He catered the tour based on the groups' desires. The tour was not physically demanding but very doable. One of our party wasnt enjoying the physicality of the bike and the guide was very supportive and understanding and made extra time for her to feel comfortable along the tour.

Our guide Marc/k is a born storyteller and made the city become alive. Also our kids (19 and 20) had a great time, so he made it excititing for all of us.

We had a wonderful trip with Marcus as our guide. Well-paced ride, beautiful views, lots of great information. Picking up and dropping off the bikes was easy - the shop runs like a well-oiled machine. All the staff were friendly and helpful in getting helmets fitted, checking that bikes worked and that everyone understood the controls, etc. Experienced and newer riders all had a terrific time.

Under the super guidance of a friendly San Franciscan/Irish lady we took a very joyful and informative bikeride to Sausalito. On the way there we saw and stopped at many historic sites in the city and ofcourse across the Golden Gate bridge! Very beautiful ride! And all the people at Blazing Saddle bike rentals are very friendly. They offer great service, especially when our daughter couldn’t finish the tour because of a food allergy. Highly recommended!

Excellent morning! From the minute we arrived, everything was sorted with humour and efficiency! Orla was an awesome guide. E-bike was a great option and crossing the GG bridge then down into beautiful Sausalito was such a highlight. Lunch at the joinery was delicious and a fabulous way to refuel after the morning ride. Highly recommend!

Great route, great guide, everything is well organized and works smoothly! Our bikes were also charged at full and lasted well until we got back at station.

Excellent days adventure from the fisherman’s pier area to Sausalito, great guide, very easy with an e bike. Very windy going over the bridge. The two guides did an excellent job looking after us so much so, that we rode both ways. Tour started 10 am on a Sunday and we got back to base around 4pm after a great lunch.

We booked a Monday morning tour to Sausalito taking in the GGB and sights en-route. The bike pick up was easy with a super friendly and efficient team at the Hyde St location. We were sized up for e-bikes and tested out to ensure our understanding of the controls. We met up with our fellow tourers and our guides, the delightful husband and wife duo Orla and Marcus. The group was split into two to make it more manageable and accommodate a slightly slower pace for one and a slightly more energetic (not much) for the other. The pace and guiding was just right with periodic comfort stops and to hear some history and facts and take in the views etc. The bridge itself is spectacular on a bike and we were treated to sun and full visibility all the way. Sausalito is charming and we joined some of the other riders and the guides at The Joinery restaurant. The food was really very good, but the only downside of the day was the male server taking orders at the till (it's order and sit down). Someone should tell them them that a smile and a little customer service goes a long way. A couple of final notes which may be helpful; my wife was nervous about hiring an e-bike as she had visions of it taking her off into the distance by itself. Within a mile or two she loved it and returned from the day as a complete convert. Secondly it's great to have the tickets and option to come back on the ferry, but we rode back (the electric assist ate the hills out of Sausalito and Fort Baker). It was great to see another perspective of San Francisco and enjoy the bridge again (including from the Battery Spencer viewpoint). Thanks Orla, Marcus and Blazing Saddles!
